While they play in the town square, Princess Linda and Bolo el Sabio decide to organise a party to celebrate the birthday of King Simpatias. They go to the palace to tell the King, who thinks it’s a great idea. But the mysterious magician Cadabra has other plans: to transform the King into a chicken and Princess Linda into little Red Riding Hood.  Bolo el Sabio discovers the plan and quickly calls Peneque el Valiente to save them, with the help of the children in the audience, in order to have the party.
Pioneer of modern puppet theatre, Miguel Pino (1923-2023) started his career taking his cardboard and felt characters to town squares, and then to major theatres. Generation after generation, children have shouted: “Peneque, Peneque, where are you?”. His magic is now transmitted by his sons, Miguel and Antonio Pino, who have inherited his art.
