A psychiatrist is asked to testify on behalf of a patient who has committed a massacre. When he refuses, his ethics and his beliefs are questioned, setting off a spiral of events that will disrupt his life, but also the life of the person he loves most.

David Mamet, a novelist, essayist, scriptwriter and film director, is also one of the most influential, prolific and respected American playwrights of our times. In 1984 he won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Glengarry Glen Ross.
