NOMINATED FOR THE 2020 MAX AWARDS FOR BEST THEATRE SHOW, BEST DIRECTION, BEST THEATRICAL ADAPTATION AND BEST WARDROBE

Romeo and Juliet is for many the perfect play, an icon and a classic of world literature. It is a love story stewed in the pot of hate. Hate that confronts families, peoples, nations and ideologies, and that prevents the purest feelings between two adolescents to flourish.
How can love sprout between young people of different bands in this slough of resentment? How can they escape from this bog? They are trapped by the quicksand of the tragedy and even though they plan to flee, destiny plays with marked cards.
We know this hate, vengeance, wars and confrontations that seem to be cemented in the night of time. This proposal  is rooted in this peril, this feeling that rots and destroys the bonds of fellowship, and how Romeo and Juliet confront this devastation.
