An anonymous pamphlet accuses Jean Jacques Rousseau of having abandoned his five children. Rousseau asks Voltaire to help him discover the author of this abomination. We thus attend a great domestic scene in which the two philosophers confront their ideas about God, equality, education and theatre. Two equally generous but very different forms of conceiving society.
“This play is brilliant and intelligent. It causes us to reflect with the same intensity as the pleasure we feel (…) Whenever someone reads the work of these two philosophers, he/she becomes a little better person.” Josep Maria Flotats
