Classical music and flamenco merge in Flamenco sinfónico as the precursor of the closing of 7th Biennial of Flamenco Art of Malaga. A show that brings together two of the most relevant  present day artists, Tomatito and Estrella Morente, in a musical symphony of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Málaga conducted by Víctor Eloy López Cerezo.

José Fernández Torres ‘Tomatito’ (Almería, 1958), Camaron’s eternal accompanist at the guitar and currently one of the most flamenco of Spanish players, has explored other fields including classical music and performs with his undeniable personality Joaquin Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, which he recorded in 2019.
Estrella Morente Carbonell (Granada, 1980), outstanding flamenco artist capable of singing all kinds of music, performs El amor brujo by Manuel de Falla, which she has staged at the best theatres of Spain and abroad. A classic piece of Spanish music sung by one of Spain’s most important singers.
The Orquesta Sinfónica de Málaga
(Malaga, 1945), one of the oldest and most prestigious of Spain, is sponsored by the Malaga Provincial Government. The orchestra’s versatility allows it to alternate between the classical repertoire and flamenco, performing  with artists such as Estrella Morente, Vicente Amigo, David Dorantes and Manolo Sanlúcar. The Orchestra performed  ‘Mairena Sinfónico’ to close the 2017 Biennial of Flamenco Art of Malaga.
