“Culture and art are the best balm for an injured country” declares the Malaga guitarist Daniel Casares, who is back on the flamenco scene with Guitarrísimo, his eighth album. It is without a doubt the most intimate, personal and refined of his acclaimed career. Casares confined himself for months in Estopona near the sea for this return to his origins, to the pure sound of a soundboard and the old beats of his childhood.
