Ainhoa Arteta is the most international, brilliant and popular Basque soprano in history, and she is currently going through one of the best moments of her career. Her vocal maturity, her experience and her self-confidence are additional assets to the landmarks of a career of more than thirty years which have taken her to the world’s most prestigious theatres, with the best conductors and soloists, to conquer the most demanding audiences. Together with her extensive operatic commitments, recitals have been and continue to be a fundamental part of her artistic activity, at which she dazzles audiences with her charisma and versatility.
After her superb and unforgettable role as Traviata in 2018, Ainhoa Arteta is returning to the Cervantes Theatre with a concert of songs from her non-operatic albums, versions of songs that have accompanied her since childhood and marked her life; each one with a special story and its own particular legacy. “Tears in Heaven”, “Historia de un amor”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, “Alfonsina y el mar”, “With or Without You”, “What a Wonderful World”, “Piensa en mí”, “Guantanamera” are some of the pieces of this intimate repertoire.
