Spain forever, 2017  Latino Grammy for Best Instrumental Album, is the last record of the trilogy that also includes  Spain (2000) and Spain again (2006) and of the surprising musical adventure of one of the most stunning and acclaimed duos of contemporary music.

Although guitar and piano were two instruments which traditionally had not formed very productive alliances, the skilled Dominican pianist Michel Camilo and the famous guitarist from Almeria Tomatito destroyed the prejudice and basically converted it into a canon.

The album’s ten pieces follow such dissimilar paths as jazz, with ‘Armando’s ruhumba’, by Corea; tango, with a fantastic version of ‘Oblivion’, by Piazzolla; the music of film, with two pieces from ‘Cinema Paradiso’; Brazilian music, with ‘Manha de carnaval’, and classical music, with a surprising performance of Gnossienne nº1, by Satie.
