As part of a new generation that moves with ease between flamenco, jazz and improvised music, the flautist Trinidad Jiménez, from Almeria, is in a permanent process of search, as demonstrated by her new trio project. Eléctrica is a story narrated without words, an introspective journey that shakes the boundaries of jazz, flamenco and rock with decibels, instrumental groans and respectful and honest experimentation, in which expressiveness stands out.
Eléctrica premiered in 2020 at the Madrid International Jazz Festival (JazzMadrid). Since then, it has been presented at different festivals, concert series and emblematic live music venues in Spain: Ciudad Real International Jazz Festival, Alma Sonora Foundation, Feminajazz Festival, Abierto de Jazz of Malaga, Almería International Jazz Festival, Clasijazz, Mousiké La Laguna, Clarence Jazz Club, Café Berlín...
According to the specialised magazine Más Jazz, it was "one of the most interesting projects of Jazzmadrid 2020".
