I REMEMBER MILES is a jazz quartet presented by the trumpeter Nacho Loring, in which he reviews and pays tribute to the repertoire of Miles Davis, one of the greatest legends of jazz. Songs that have become standards, including compositions by Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and Davis himself, interpreted from Loring’s perspective.
The grooving quartet of the veteran saxophone player JAVIER DENIS was created several years ago in an attempt to bring back certain sounds of the 60s and 70s, such as blues, rhythm & blues, gospel and funk, adding pieces of Latin-jazz to the repertoire. In other words, fresh music, very rhythmic, full of atmosphere and swing.
The BABUSHKA'S GROOVE quartet combines the typical sounds of funk jazz, blues and boogaloo with a more modern and personal approach, providing ample space to the improvisation of the Hammond organ/keyboard, the saxophone and the guitar; all within the realm of groove.
The RAQUEL PELAYO QUARTET is a project that addresses a varied repertoire consisting of jazz, and Brazilian and Cuban music, creatively revised with original arrangements. The quartet is completed with Gregorio Herreros at the piano, Rafa Sibajas at the double bass and David Ponce at the drums.
TITO ALCEDO AND NONO GARCIA, guitarists and composers from Barbate, are internationally renowned and have collaborated with great artists of contemporary popular music. Their long career together and separately, which has been distinguished with various awards and recognitions, is reflected in their personal albums and concerts.
The 4 CHICAS quartet is led by singer and saxophonist Eva Fernández, accompanied by Ester Quevedo at the piano, Blanca Barranco at the double bass and the Rakel Arbeloa at the drums. This group of young women offers a risky, elegant and fresh jazz repertoire in which they combine their recognised talent with obvious complicity and expertise.
The ANTONIO GONZALEZ TRIO is a group that seeks to experiment by using a format that dispenses with the harmonic element, such as the piano or guitar, in order to offer, through a select repertoire, the nuances and textures offered by the symbiosis of the alto saxophone together with Bori Albero's double bass and David León's drums.
The flute player from Malaga FERNANDO BROX, who lives in Switzerland, brings together some of the musicians who have influenced him the most in all senses, and who have undoubtedly marked a vital course and multiple manners of understanding music and life, to perform Factor humano, an original repertoire composed over the last year which reflects his most recent musical pursuit.
