Stage direction La Maquine (Joaquin Casanova and Elisa Ramos) - Max Best Family Show Award 2014

The Max Performing Arts Awards, created in 1998 by the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores [General Society of Authors and Editors], rewards and acknowledges the work of professionals and the quality of the years’ most noteworthy productions in the field of the performing arts. The itinerant character of the Gala, and the choice of emblematic venues for the event, are undoubtedly one of the main features of this unique celebration. Every year, this awards ceremony travels with its joyous and spectacular crew from one autonomous community to another as a metaphor of touring theatre and dance companies, converting the performing arts in Spain in a living and active art form that is a very important benchmark of our cultural richness.  .
In 2020 the SGAE Foundation will celebrate the Gala of the Max Awards for the Performing Arts at the Teatro Cervantes as part of its 150th anniversary “party”.
