Seventy artists, including singers, musicians, dancers and acrobats, wearing the traditional dress of the different Cossack regions that existed throughout Russia, bring energy and colour to a show full of picturesque and exotic skills that recall the folklore of the military communities repressed for sixty years by the Soviet Union.
‘Cossacks of Russia’ recuperates popular songs about love, pain, war, departure…The army of each region has its own music and melodies, with common elements such as the use of sables, whips, lances and canons, military organisation and Marches.
