Satori
Choreography Raul Reinoso  Music Pepe Gavilondo
In Zen Buddhism the term “satori” refers to spiritual illumination. The choreography illustrates this voyage of introspection through several abstract scenes.
Raúl Reinoso is the winner of the 2018-2019 National Choreography Award given by the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba for this piece.
Paysage, soudain, la nuit [Landscape, suddenly, at night]
Choreography Pontus Lidberg  Music Leo Brouwer y Stefan Levin  Dramaturgy Adrian Silver
The Swedish choreographer brings the culture of Cuba closer by means of the rumba, which is at the core of our traditional music. Leo Brouwer’s score is the point of departure to celebrate youth between the twilight and dawn of Lidbert and Stefan Levin.
Impronta [Impression]
Choreography María Rovira  Music Pepe Gavilondo
Modern and contemporary dance merge in an evocation of the folk dances of African heritage.
Twelve
Choreography Jorge Crecis  Music Vincenzo Lamagna
Twelve is dance-sport piece, a universe regulated by complex mathematical and graphical permutations, a real risk that tests the physical and mental resistance of twelve dancers who must perform impossible steps to achieve an impossible objective.
