Perdedora is the story of a dancer’s body-memory. A contemporary dance solo that accepts the failure of the artist’s attempt. A voyage through the darkest nooks of the body’s fatigue and efforts to reconnect with movement.
XCC was founded in 2012 by the dancer and choreographer Ximena Carnevale and the DJ/producer Kitty Soul. This creative tandem produces contemporary works for the stage based on a single premise: the permeability of contemporary dance with other disciplines, in particular music. They produce and direct their own shows, in which their personal sources of inspiration and cultural references appear incidentally as a tribute to these two elements.
