DANZA A ESCENA 2019

Described as a “masterpiece” by The Chicago Sun in 2012, CARMEN.maquia is part of the repertoire of companies such as BalletMet and Ballet Hispánico in the United States. It is a contemporary version of Merimée’s classic ballet which maintains the original story and for which the fashion designer David Delfín created one of his last designs for dance. Titoyaya premieres CARMEN.maquia this year in Europe with a new scene.

Since 2006 Titoyaya Dansa produces mid and large format choreographies of great artistic quality and technical precision, qualities that characterise Gustavo Ramírez, the company’s founder, whose work has been performed in Spain, Europe and the United States.
