MARIE GAJDOŠOVÁ violin
Brno, Czech Republic, 1966. GAJDOŠOVÁ began to play the violin at the age of five, and after graduating from the Brno Conservatory, studied at the Prague and Brno Academies of Music and Dramatic Art. Since 1986 she has been a violinist at the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra and since 1991, premier violinist. GAJDOŠOVÁ performs as a soloist and member of chamber ensembles, also performing contemporary music (Prague Festival of Modern Music, Club of the Moravian Composers…). She has made numerous recordings and performs at the Prague Spring Music Festival.

LEOŠ ZAVADILÍK violin
Prerov, Czech Republic, 1964. After graduating from the Kromeriz Conservatory, the musician was taken on as premier violinist for the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra and continued his studies at the city’s Janácek Academy of Music and Arts in the Faculty of Music. Recognised by the press as an outstanding talent, he has been eulogised in many articles. He has performed numerous concerts throughout the world with the Olomuc Chamber and Chequia Chamber Orchestras.

PETR ALTRICHTER conductor
Chief Conductor of the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra since 2002, he graduated in the French Horn and Conducting from the Ostrava Music Conservatory, before continuing his studies at the Janácek Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Assistant to Vaclav Neumann in the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, international recognition came in 1976 when he won second place and the special prize at the International Conductors Competition in Besançon, France. Between 1990 and 1992 he was Chief Conductor of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and between 1997 and 2001, of the Prague Symphonic Orchestra, with whom he has performed around the world and made recordings for the BBC at the Royal Albert Hall. He has conducted numerous orchestras and taken part in the foremost festivals.
