LETICIA MORENO violin
At the age of twenty two, this violinist from Madrid is internationally considered to be one of the most fascinating violinists of her generation. She has performed since the age of twelve with orchestras such as the Vienna Symphonic, Wiener Kammer Orchester, Warsaw Symphony, Sinfonetta Cracovia, Besançon Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Camerata, to name but a few, and the vast majority of the most important Spanish orchestras conducted by Krzystof Penderecki, Günther Herbig, López Cobos, Pinchas Stainberg, etc. She has won five first prizes in international competitions, including the Concertino Praga (2000), Sarasate (2001) and Kreisler (2005). A pupil of the legendary Zakhar Bron and Maxim Vengerov, she is a regular fixture in auditoriums as renowned as the Vienna Konzerthaus, Warsaw Philharmonic and Hermitage Theatre. She has recorded the Spanish Symphony by Lalo with the JONDE and has several commitments to record with Naxos in the near future, along with several recordings with RNE (Spanish National Radio), ZDF in Germany, the BBC in London and Chicago National Radio.
