Aware of the weight of her artistic heritage, British singer and actress Marianne Faithfull, a veritable paradigm of self-destruction and survival, today steers clear from the whirlpool of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll which on so many occasions was on the verge of ruining her life in the 60s swinging London, when she shared a bed and many excesses with The Rolling Stones and other “deities” of English-speaking pop-rock. Faithfull, who has the rare talent of constantly reinventing herself, reappeared on the record scene in 2008 with her double record of versions Easy come, Easy go. After the presentation tour, she joins guitarist Doug Pettibone to perform it again and revisit the classics in her repertoire.
