Achinoam Nini, Noa, is, besides the most famous Israeli vocalist, an artist who is firmly committed to promoting the understanding and dialogue between peoples and cultures. She now returns to the Cervantes to present her new record of Napolitan songs.
Lebrija-born pianist David Peña Dorantes gives us yet another example of his eagerness to reconcile cultures. Although he comes from the world of flamenco, his creations are entirely personal, removed from the usual fusion experiments. Dorantes offers a bold, evolutionary flamenco, bursting with innovation. His virtuosity and uniqueness at the piano are exceptional.
Both artists bring together their talents, instruments and styles in a joint tour where, in an unprecedented and magical fusion, different registers of Mediterranean music reach out to one another.
