After fifteen years in the music industry, in her eighth record, Pastora Soler is more herself than ever before. And that is precisely what she set out to achieve. To continue being herself, continue doing music like she conceives of it, as it has gradually come to her since she started to love it, without ignoring any genre and, at the same time, forgetting them all at once to sing and feel it her own way. It was time to face new decisions; this time, with regards to production and repertoire.
The thirteen songs of Bendita locura are related more or less directly with the personal situation of the singer at the time they were written. Manuel Carrasco, David de María, Martínez Ares, Alejandro Sanz and Pastora Soler herself, among others, have written the songs of this new record of the Sevillian artist; a record where she reaffirms and strengthens a style of her own where copla and flamenco embrace one another and in turn flamenco embraces electronic and pop music.
After Nuestras coplas (1994), El mundo que soñé (1996), Fuente de luna (1999), Corazón congelado (2001), Deseo (2002), Pastora Soler (2005) and Toda mi verdad (2007), Pastora Soler returns to the stage with a show half way between a concert for a mass audience and an intimate performance, where she will perform songs from her new album, as well as hits from her artistic career.
