This Irish vocalist is definitely not unknown on the international electronic music scene. Until her professional separation from Mark Brydon in 2003, following the break-up of their relationship in 2001, they sung together in the Moloko duo and became famous for their dance floor hits.
With her solo debut, Ruby blue (05), Rósin showed that she isn’t just an excellent singer and a rhythm virtuoso, but that she also knows how to produce a style of music that can be considered as a legitimate contribution to the new millennium’s fruitful music scene, as well as one that heats up the dance floor. Her second album release, Overpowered (07) only reconfirms the particular talent that she has for rhythms that are sophisticated, colourful and addictive,… It is a record that has all the ingredients for success and for turning into a classic, just has Rósin has everything that she needs to be remembered for something more than just her links to Moloko. Conscientious and intelligent, her version of dance and disco music is extremely well made. Róisin has musical ambitions and possibilities that go beyond the perfect blend of her refined nature, personality and vocal quality.
