Raphael had long been toying with the idea of touring - just him, up close on stage. Well this dream is now a reality, it’s called Cerca de ti and, since 2006, has taken Raphael around the stages of Spain and America on a series of concerts in which the public get to see him in more intimate surroundings, and hear songs including those which he has never performed live but have nonetheless been some of his biggest hits. “I’m going to sing with total freedom, without being tied to any instrument, just on stage with the piano for company”, states Raphael, for whom this tour has come just at the right moment, both physically and emotionally; he understands that the public, his public, deserve it.
